January:
New Years Day Polar Bear Swim: Residents and visitors gather at the Tahsis Public Boat Launch on New Years Day for the Annual Polar Bear Swim. Hot chocolate and hot dogs are provided by the Tahsis Lions Club.
Spring Bazaar:
PAC Spring Bazaar: The Captain Meares School Parents Advisory Council hosts a Spring Bazaar every year around Easter. Local businesses, societies and artisans set out their wares and food for sale in the school gym, along with a number of fundraising raffles.
July and August:
The Tahsis Artisans open shop in the bottom level of St. Joseph's Catholic Church (the little white church on the mountainside) every July and August. A large selection of beautifully crafted items, all created in Tahsis are available for sale.
July:
Canada Day: Join in the celebration on July 1st - eat your cake and enjoy it too! Tahsis Tourist Information Centre, hosted by the Tahsis Heritage Society and the Tahsis Volunteer Firefighters.
The Village of Tahsis presents the annual Tahsis Days during the third weekend of July. Local businesses, organizations, societies and charity groups host a variety of fun, family events. Please visit the Village of Tahsis website for additional information.
August:
Westview Marina's hosts its Annual Fishing Derby benefiting the Tahsis Salmon Enhancement Society. Great prizes, banquet and entertainment. Visit Westview Marina for further information.
October:
Esperanza Ministries hosts a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Esperanza.
Childrens Halloween Costume Contest followed by the Fireworks Display
November:
November 11th: Tahsis Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Cenotaph.
December:
PAC Annual Christmas Bazaar at Captain Meares School. Arrive early to get your homemade perogies! Browse the tables for that special gift.
